Keith Thompson
President

Keith worked with a number of major British and US publishers (Oyez, Butterworths, John Wiley, Academic Press, and Harcourt Brace) before establishing Thompson Educational Publishing in 1987.

He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from universities in Canada and has done doctoral research at the London School of Economics and at the University of Toronto.

Faye Thompson
Vice-President

Faye taught business studies in high schools and colleges in Nova Scotia, the UK, and Ontario prior to co-founding Thompson Educational Publishing, Inc. in 1987. She holds an undergraduate degree in Business and a Teaching degree from Mount Saint Vincent University, Halifax.

Ted Temertzoglou
Educational Consultant, Health & Physical Education

Ted has been a physical education teacher for more than 20 years. He has authored various health and physical education resources. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto.

Ted serves as an Ophea master trainer, is a certified personal trainer, and the the Ontario representative for the Board of Directors for Physical and Health Education Canada.

Katy Bartlett

Editorial and Production Manager (Currently on Maternity Leave)

Katy studied English Literature at McGill University and is a graduate of the Ryerson Publishing Program.  She has worked in the editorial and production department at Thompson Educational since 2006.

Katy's projects for Thompson have included high school resources in business and health and physical education as well as university level textbooks focusing on aboriginal studies, social work, sociology, and adult education.  In her spare time she enjoys crossword puzzles, reading, traveling, and watching movies (preferably ones based on books).

Caley Baker
Production Editor

Caley is a graduate of Queen's University, where she completed degrees in English Literature and Education, as well as the University of King's College, where she studied Journalism.

In addition to working in a number of editorial positions and as a freelance editor, Caley was also an environmental educator for a number of years. Caley loves spending time outdoors, running, hiking, and camping.

Janet has been with Thompson Educational since 2006, performing customer service and bookkeeping duties. She has worked for various retail and hospitality organizations. Janet loves to travel, read and take long walks in High Park.
