Yoga allows students to strengthen their bodies, relieve stress, and concentrate better while opening their minds to lifelong fitness possibilities. This series was created to help students master the foundational poses and movements of yoga. Mastering these yoga poses will not only help students increase their flexibility, concentration, and strength, but also develop confidence and a stronger sense of body awareness. These charts can be used to teach students in any grade but are recommended for use in Kindergarten to Grade 9. These sturdy charts can be used by teachers to customize cardiorespiratory, speed, agility, balance, and resistance routines to suit their students' current fitness level. Newly designed, these new charts will make it easy for teachers to deliver Daily Physical Activity (DPA) sessions and Fitness Blasts that are safe, fun, and personalized to meet the needs of all students.
