Set Developers Doug Gleddie Dr. Doug Gleddie is an assistant professor in the Department of Physical Education at Grant MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta. Doug’s experience in the field includes teaching Kindergarten to Grade 12 physical education and serving as director of the Ever Active Schools program (Alberta). He has delivered hundreds of workshops and presentations on quality physical education, developed curriculum, taught physical education pedagogy at the master’s and undergraduate levels, and published several articles in the field. Doug is a recipient of the R. Tait Mackenzie Address/Canada Scholar Award (PHE Canada), the Robert Routledge Award and Certificate of Commendation (HPEC), and the Healthy School Community Award (Alberta Government). Michelle Kilborn Michelle Kilborn is a PhD student and sessional instructor in physical education at the University of Alberta, Department of Secondary Education. Her research is focused on the role of health and physical education curriculum in a health promoting schools approach. She recently completed a secondment at Alberta Education where she was responsible for the development of the Framework for Kindergarten to Grade 12 Wellness Education. Prior to moving to Alberta, Michelle taught for fifteen years in British Columbia and was the president of the provincial specialists' association, PE-BC, and a local association, Greater Victoria Physical Educators.
