Stuart M. McGill, PhD
University of Waterloo
Stuart McGill is a professor of Spine Biomechanics at the University of Waterloo (Waterloo, ON, Canada). His advice is often sought by governments, corporations, legal experts and elite athletes and teams from around the world. His work has been recognized with many awards including the R. Tait McKenzie award 2005, and the CSB Carer Award 2004. He is a world-renowned presenter on Spine Biomechanics and Functional Fitness. He has authored and self published several books in his area of expertise.
Robert Kell, PhD
University of Alberta
Robert Kell's research pertains to musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and athlete traiinga nd conditioning. He has completed research pertaining to both the occupational and exercise settings. He has presented at national and international conferences, and published articles in refereed journals. His recent research has focused primarily on chronic low back pain and physical work capacity, with current and future research involving exercise as an intervention for chronic pain (e.g., low back pain), and the influence on physiological and psychological quality of life. He has written extensively for Men's Health, Women's Health, USA Today, and the LA Times. Robert Kell creates many strength and conditioning programs used by the University of Alberta's Varsity teams.
Nicole Springle, RD
Sports Nutrition, Cleveland Clinic
Nicole Springle is a Registered Dietitian on staff with Cleveland Clinic Canada. Ms. Springle works with many of the lifestyle management and wellness clients to incorporate a nutritional component in their wellness program. Her specialty interests include nutrition as it relates to sports performance, weight management and disease prevention. Ms. Springle is an official provider of nutrition services for the Canadian Sport Centre Ontario (CSCO), and the Coaching Association of Canada's Sport Nutrition Advisory Council (SNAC).
