In this three-part webinar Dr. Dean Kriellaars explains physical literacy —how it works and why it's important children be introduced to it in the school environment. Dr. Kriellaars discusses the advent of social media, the evolving relationship between kids and physical activity and the rise of the sedentary lifestyle.

Dr. Dean Kriellaars is Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy, School of Medical Rehabilitation in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Manitoba. An advocate for healthy, active living, Dr. Kriellaars is a trailblazer in the physical literacy movement, having developed several programs that have been adopted across Canada.
