Overview

Dr. Louise Humbert explores the idea of a physical education class standard that works for all students, regardless of their athletic ability. With a particular focus on girls in H&PE, Dr. Humbert reviews the social factors that affect the student PE journey.

Dr. Louise Humbert is the Associate Dean of Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan. From 2010 to 2012 she was the President of Physical and Health Education Canada. Dr. Humbert has spent her career working with children and youth, as well those who teach and care for them.
