Overview

In this webinar Dr. Dean Dudley discuses the role of physical education as it relates to 21st century learning. Dr. Dudley addresses the downward trend in relation to the quality and ease of access children have to H&PE as set out by UNESCO, including an in depth look at the Quality Physical Education Guidelines.

Dr. Dean Dudley is a senior lecturer at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. Dr. Dudley was an Expert Consultant on the Quality Physical Education Guidelines for Policymakers published by UNESCO in 2015. He teaches in the Health and Physical Education disciplines for pre-service teachers. Currently his research is focused on the assessment and reporting of physical education and the development of policy and learning outcomes pertaining to physical literacy.
